Sam_Smith_In_the_Lonely_Hour

I have this thing with British singer-songwriters like Adele and Ed Sheeran I actually have their complete set of albums. These artists have their distinct voices that made them stand out and make it to stardom.

Recently I have a new favorite British singer-songwriter; Sam Smith.  I heard him sang in the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards which he sang one production number in their, so I goggle and searched his songs on Youtube and I loved it.

I only got the chance to hear his second single titled “In the Lonely Hour”. The album includes the hit singles “Money on My Mind” and Stay with Me, both of which were number one in the UK; and the latter becoming a hit worldwide, peaking in the top ten in over ten countries, including the United States. The album consist of 14 tracks. A deluxe edition of the album contains five bonus tracks, which includes a solo acoustic version of Disclosure’s single “Latch” and Naughty Boy’s number-one single “La La La”.

Among the 14 songs in the album, the following are

the top 6 songs that make it through my playlist:

  • Like I Can
  • Stay with me
  • Good Thing
  • I’m not the only one
  • I’ve told you now
  • Money on my mind
